AP Spanish

AP SPANISH
This course is designed to help students learn important strategies that will ensure success on the AP Exam in May. Students take numerous practice tests and the results are used to identify areas of key concerns. Students will concentrate on their own individual weaknesses and learn how to overcome any stumbling blocks they encounter in any of the AP skills areas: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, informal writing, formal writing, paragraph completion with root words, paragraph completion without root words, informal speaking presentations, and formal speaking presentation.

The only grade students receive is that which will come from four AP type tests administered two per quarter. All other assignments are corrected and commented on but not used for a grade. Students should have a fairly good grasp of what score he/she will receive on the actual test in May based upon the grade received in class: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2.
